The Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) Program, an initiative by Alberta Health Services (AHS) and Alberta Blue Cross, enables eligible clients to access publicly funded home care services through a provider of their choice. Delight Home Health Care is an approved provider under this program, making quality home care services more affordable and accessible.

How Do You Qualify?
To access home care services through this program, you must:
Alberta Resident with Health Card
Be a resident of Alberta with a valid health care card.
Safe Home Care Needs
Have care needs that can be safely met at home.
AHS Case Manager Approval
Meet the eligibility requirements set by an Alberta Health Services (AHS) case manager.
Steps to Apply
Call 811 for Assessment
If you are interested in receiving an assessment, you can simply call 811. They will guide you through the process and provide the necessary information.
AHS Case Worker Evaluation
An Alberta Health Services Home Care Case Worker will evaluate the care recipient’s needs.
